About Me

My name is Diosdado S. Pine Jr., a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Saint Louis University, Baguio City, Philippines.

I was born and raised in Pangasinan, Philippines, where I gained my training and appreciation of different art forms in the Special Program in the Arts curriculum in High School. In the latter years of a high school student, I discovered my passion for public service and policymaking as I worked (as an intern) at the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Office (PTCAO), Lingayen, Pangasinan during that time.

In 2018, I left the province and began my Bachelor's Degree Program at Saint Louis University (SLU). In my early college life, I started to work in different school organizations: as a working scholar for SLU Center for Culture and the Arts, Dance Troupe (SLU-CCA DT); as a commissioner in Commission on Election (COMELEC) for our co-curricular organization- Political Science Academic Society (POSAS); and as an intern in Student Court. Eventually, I became the president of SLU-CCA DT. These experiences were exciting, new, and challenging to me: I was learning how to adapt not only to my work in the organizations and degree program but also to life in another province. These experiences were the most important things that ever happened in my life. After a short adaptation period, I grew confident in my roles as leader, administrator, and researcher in training.

In 2021, while pursuing my political science degree, I decided to take a few education courses to widen my knowledge and skills in teaching, as I also want to work and help in the education sector. To know more about the reason of pursuing teaching courses, please visit my blog by clicking this link:

In January 2022, I was deployed with my classmates in different agencies and branches of the government- executive, legislative, and judiciary that further honed and trained us in governance and administration.

In June 2022, I graduated in my bachelor's degree in Political Science with honors (Cum Laude).
